
Tina St.Leger
Chief Human Resources Officer
Tina St Leger joined GW Pharmaceuticals as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) in July 2019 and is responsible for the global human resources function. Tina joined GW after a 14-year tenure at GlaxoSmithKline (GSK), where she most recently served as VP HR for GSK Europe and Global Therapeutic Groups. In that role, she led change initiatives across Europe and the U.S. for the division that spans 30 countries and includes more than 5,000 employees.
She was also responsible for building GSK’s global oncology team in the U.S. and Europe. She previously held positions of increasing responsibility within the global HR function at GSK, including serving as VP HR for the Emerging Markets region and their branded generics business – which included 17,000 employees and operated in more than 100 countries – and VP HR for ViiV Healthcare – a global company that specializes in HIV. ViiV Healthcare is a joint venture between Pfizer, Shionogi and GSK. Tina was the Global Head of HR and supported teams based in the US, Europe and developed Asia in the commercial, R&D, supply chain and medical affairs teams. Tina brings 20 years of global human resources experience, including expertise in organizational design and learning and leadership development. Prior to GSK, she led Leadership and Development for the UK retailer Marks and Spencer having enjoyed an earlier career in both finance and R&D. Tina earned her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of St. Andrews.
